Your support REALLY makes a difference

After Adoption is a registered charity. We make a difference to the lives of many, but we can’t do this without your support.

We would like to acknowledge and offer our most grateful thanks to the following for their very generous support of our projects.

Esmee Fairbairn Foundation

The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation

Esmee Fairbairn Foundation have supported our pioneering work with birth parents in the Midlands under the Breaking the Cycle programme. Their commitment helped us pilot work with birth mums who have lost serial children to adoption, with the aim of getting their lives back on track and owning their future narrative.

National Lottery Community Fund

Our Talk Adoption programmes in the Midlands and North East England are supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. With their generous help we are able to offer young people and their parents a range of safe and supported activities to improve their family lives.

The Henry Smith Charity

The Oglesby Charitable Trust

Our Safebase programme received a boost from long standing funder, The Oglesby Charitable Trust, with a grant to devise a manual for training around parenting sibling groups.

Pilgrim Trust

The Pilgrim Trust is helping us to develop our Breaking the Cycle programme further, extending the reach to work with young care leavers who have had a child adopted or are at risk of having their child removed from their care.

BBC Children in Need

BBC Children in Need are kindly supporting our Talk Adoption work in the Midlands region, providing a range of therapeutic activities for adopted young people in the local area.

Timpson Group, The Timpson Family and The Alex Timpson Trust

The Timpson family have been significant supporters of our Safebase programme. With their funding and guidance we have grown a pilot parenting project in to a national programme. They continue to encourage innovation, recently enabling us to develop Safebase in Schools.

Thank You!
