I have worked within business development and tendering for over 15 years. My career has covered administration and HR and then I moved into business development, working in hospitals with some of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK.
I joined After Adoption in 2013 wanting a change of environment and a challenge to learn something new. Whilst business development is similar across all sectors, After Adoption poses some unique challenges and opportunities. We experiment and get involved in developing new services purely designed to improve the lives of those affected by adoption. My role covers tendering for new business, proposal writing, presenting to local authorities and also supporting Service Managers in demonstrating the effectiveness of our impact in contract review meetings.
