4-10 March 2019
We have helped hundreds of people start their family through adoption, including many people who identify as LGBT.
In fact, 1 in 3 of the adoptive parents we have approved in the last year identify as LGBT. And 1 in 4 adoptions has been with LGBT adopters compared to a national average of 1 in 10, so we really understand the difference that LGBT people can make to the lives of children waiting to be adopted.
That’s why we celebrate LGBT Adoption and Fostering Week with New Family Social, the UK network for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) adoptive and foster families.
This year LGBT Adoption and Fostering Week is 4-10 March and as long-standing members of New Family Social, we will be joining them and other agencies by holding LGBT Exploring Adoption Events at our Manchester Head Office on Thursday 7th March – a drop-in day between 9am and 5pm and then an evening session between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
If you can’t make that event have a look at our other regular Exploring Adoption events. You can meet our friendly team, hear from an adopter and learn about the process, the children waiting and the life-long support and guidance we provide. Or call us for an informal discussion on 0300 456 2656 or email us at email@example.com
