Help us to help others
We want every child to have a family and for everyone who lives with adoption to have the support they need to live a better everyday.
After Adoption is a registered charity. We make a difference to the lives of many, but we can’t do this without your support. There are lots of ways you can help us to help others.
If you’re an employer, check out the exciting and inspirational ways in which you can get involved with our corporate opportunities.
If you’re an individual with time to give, we are always looking for volunteers; whether you have admin skills, event management experience or fundraising knowledge, we’d like to hear from you.
We also need people to support our community fundraising – ask your friends and family to help you raise funds!
And if you’re looking for a challenge, why not gain a sense of achievement while raising money for a worthy cause?
If you are someone who has benefitted from our services we ask you to help us help others, by encouraging your family, friends and employers to support us. Word of mouth is a powerful way of getting our message out there, and you can help!
With your help we can continue making a difference. Here’s a snapshot of what we achieved last year…
Make a donation today
The easiest, quickest way to support After Adoption and our work with children and families affected by adoption is to make a donation. We are very grateful and you can donate as a one-off or on a regular basis. As one of the UK’s largest adoption support charities, you can be sure your donation will be used wisely.
Take part in a run
There are thousands of runs up and down the UK. We have guaranteed places in come runs and organise our own 10k in Regent’s Park, London’s most beautiful park. You can enter virtually any running event and choose to fundraise for After Adoption.
Jump out of a plane
For many it’s the ultimate challenge. For you, it’s your chance to skydive free of charge. Just raise the minimum sponsorship, which at £360 or £395 depending on the type of jump, is surprisingly low!
Companies can help
Companies and employees can raise funds through a whole host of simple and fun ways, supporting After Adoption and helping to build your team spirit.
Friends and family
From cake sales to sponsored walks, formal dinners to comedy nights, beer festivals to quizzes, you can raise funds amongst your family and friends.
Attend one of our events... or organise your own!
We organise lots of events, from comedy nights to dinners, wine tasting to fashion shows, quizzes to music gigs. Why not come along to one, organise your own?
Raise funds online
There are lots of ways you can raise funds online, at no cost to yourself! Set up an online sponsor form with VirginMoneyGiving, raise a commission for After Adoption every time you shop or search online with Savoo (plus they have discount vouchers), buy games from Humble Bundle, sell unwanted items at ebay, and shop online with Give as you Live.
