After Adoption: Helping everyone affected by adoption

We have come a long way from our beginnings in a windowless room in Manchester with only a handful of staff members to a national organisation providing services across the UK and Wales. Since 1990 we have responded to over 100,000 requests for help and since establishing our family finding service in 2000, have placed over 100 children with their 'forever families'.
To keep providing our services and responding to requests for help - we need your support.
To mark our 20th birthday we have just launched our £20k for 2010 campaign which aims to raise - you guessed it - £20,000 in 2010. To do this we have created a 20,000 pixel page on our website where supporters and businesses alike can buy a 5x5 pixel square at just £1 each and upload an image of their choice - a logo, clipart or even a photo! Its a really simple idea that we hope everyone can get behind.

To celebrate our birthday we're also having an exciting year long calendar of events from family days, wine tastings, runs and also the UK's first ever convention for adopted people - Lets Talk Adoption.
We are looking for champion volunteer fundraisers across the country, to inspire others and raise funds for After Adoption in their community. If you are up for the challenge, enthusiastic and passionate about our cause then get in touch. We look forward to you joining our team, in this, our 20th birthday year!
