The BUPA Great Manchester 10k Run is one of the highlights of the running calendar and 2010's race on Sunday 16th May saw 36,000 runners taking part along with thousands of supporters.
Despite the grey skies spirits ran high as runners pounded the streets of Manchester passing famous sights such as The Imperial War Museum, Old Trafford, Manchester Ship Canal, The Lowry - finishing under the shadow of the impressive Beetham Tower.
The After Adoption cheering team was strategically placed at the 8km point and cheered on our runners at one of the toughest points in the course.
A huge well done and thank-you goes out to all of our runners - we really value your support. So far the team has raised nearly £3000 and counting. A special mention goes to the fastest After Adoption runner, Brian McArdle, who finished in an impressive time of 43 minutes 23 seconds.
