Charlie and Ruby are brother and sister, aged seven and four respectively. They are looking for a forever family that can care for them both.

Charlie is a well-mannered little boy who can engage in quite adult conversation. He has developed a good sense of humour but does tend to take things literally and at times he can be a little oversensitive. Charlie enjoys computer games and watching television like many children of his age, and he is also a creative little boy who enjoys arts and crafts.
Ruby is a sociable child who likes interacting with both adults and peers, chattering non-stop. She is lively, inquisitive and keen to learn. Ruby loves playing outdoors, painting and ‘pretend-play’ with kitchens and dolls.
Ruby has lived with Charlie since her birth and it is imperative that they remain together. They have a close relationship and although they have the usual sibling disagreements they have an understanding of their shared experiences and are keen to check on each other’s welfare and defend each other when necessary. They are both in good health with their development being age appropriate, although their difficult upbringing has led to them developing additional emotional needs.
Since Charlie and Ruby have had a difficult and harmful experience with their birth family, they need a one or two parent family that can provide the loving and stable environment that they have lacked in the past. With a good level of care, consistent boundaries and unconditional love, the emotional harm they suffered can be repaired and accordingly the more difficult behaviour that they display will be regulated.
Finding a forever family for Charlie and Ruby will mean that they can feel safe in making attachments and develop a sense of belonging.
