Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge 29/6/2009
Cycle through the beautiful Lancashire countryside all while raising money for After Adoption. The challenge takes place on Sunday 27th September and offers cyclists a choice of an 18 mile, 54 mile or a 100 mile route (the 18 mile route is a flatter course which is more suitable for families with young children wishing to take part and cycle together).

Building on our successful events calendar, After Adoption was proud to host Taste II - a spectacular Champagne Tasting in Manchester. The sold-out event was held in the magnificent surroundings of the Baronial Hall at Chetham’s School of Music.

10 Year Anniversary of 'The Search Room' 5/6/2009
Next week heralds the 10 year anniversary of After Adoption's Searching facility. The “Search Room” was opened on 1st June 1999 providing access to microfiches which listed indices of Births, Marriages and Deaths in England and Wales. These were used by volunteer Family Researchers and staff in undertaking searches for adult adopted people who are trying to find their birth...
